MARCUS FOUNDATION EXTENDS GRANT TO MASS GENERAL HOSPITAL ("MGH")
Mark Niziak, President of the Marcus Foundation, met with Dr. William Curry, Chief Medical Officer MGH, Director Neurosurgical Oncology, and Keith Erickson, Director of Development at MGH, on June 13,2024 to extend a grant of $55,000. The grant supports both brain tumor research being conducted at MGH, as well as The Marcus Fund for Families, which helps defray the expenses of families with children being treated at MGH for brain tumors and other neurological diseases.
At the meeting, Dr. Curry discussed his current brain tumor research project, being funded by the Marcus Foundation, and stated that the preliminary results were quite promising.
